THE free-entry MUSIC, ARTS & COMMUNITY FESTIVAL FOR SUNDERLAND
TAKING PLACE EVERY JULY SINCE 2014.
Summer Streets Festival is a proud member of WTF (Wear & Tyne Festivals) - an independent collective which aims to promote festival culture in the North East.
WTF is made up of 8 live performance festivals: Curious Festival, Gateshead International Festival of Theatre (GIFT), Harambee Pasadia, MAPS Festival, Newcastle Puppetry Festival, Summer Streets Festival, TUSK Festival and ¡VAMOS!
This new collaboration will foster cross-disciplinary exchange between the member festivals, providing crucial opportunities for knowledge exchange and professional development. WTF will create opportunities for artists to test work, form collaborations & embrace new models of creating / sharing live work.
