ILLUSTRATES THE FESTIVAL!
Check out Josie’s evolving gallery of images!
Illustrator and artist Josie Brookes will be making responsive artwork based on musical performances, audience interactions and feedback she receives from you via social media! Josie will be giving some insight into her process over Instagram Live at 10am on both Saturday and Sunday, and will be producing artworks that respond to the festival activities as she sees them.
Josie Brookes is an illustrator specialising in Editorial illustration from Newcastle upon Tyne. Her published work includes illustrating children’s books ‘The Flower with Feelings’, ’The Making of U’, and children’s e-book ‘My Random Digi Life’. Josie also creates work for theatre promotion and magazines alongside other projects and animations including the stop motion music video for Warm Digit’s single ‘The View from Nowhere’. She live draws and live animates at music events and other organisational events.
